A mysterious street 【紅葉と桜が競演する不思議な街路】
A mysterious street with colored leaves and cherry blossoms at the same time in fall
In this town there is a street where we can enjoy both autumn colored leaves and spring cherry blossoms at the same time in fall. Name of the street is Higashi Sakura Doori.（東桜通り）
The red leaves are Flowering Dogwoods(ハナミズキ)and cherry blossoms are October Cherry(十月桜).
Every year in this season they decorate the street with deep read and light pink.
Since colored leaves are symbol of autumn and cherry blossoms are symbol of spring, I have a little strange feeling of these mixed two seasons.
Walk straight down the main street from Satte railway station and after 10-minute walk you can find these trees alongside the street.
We can enjoy this ”October Cherry “until the end of November.

秋のミステリー/紅葉と桜が競演する不思議な街路
この街にはこの時期に秋の紅葉と春の桜を同時に愛でられる不思議な街路があります。その街路の名は「東さくら通り」です。
紅葉するのは“ハナミズキ”、桜は“十月桜”です。
毎年この時期になると彼らは深紅の赤と淡いピンクで街路を飾ってくれます。
紅葉は秋を代表するもの、桜は春を代表するものなのでちょっと不思議な気分になってしまいます。
幸手駅から本通りを真直ぐに１０分ほど歩いて下さい。そうすると通りの両サイドこれらの街路樹が見えてきます。
“十月桜”は11月一杯は楽しめます。
